CASTLE GRAD

A mighty castle, the biggest in Slovenia, is hidden among the rolling hills. Look for it when visiting us. Hidden among the hills, it is waiting for you to awaken, explore and grow fond of it. Everything is connected with it: the past, the lives of people, the buildings that still bear witness to the past importance of the lord of Gornja Lendava and last but not least the legends that still stir up the spirits. The Grad castle is the biggest castle complex in Slovenia. It is over 800 years old and stands on a hill of basalt tuff.
